DEPARTMENT OF KAUMARABHRTIYAM

we have well equipped balaroga OPD .We have various kinds of inustruments of examination and examination table.
IPD Section's with panchakrma unit's for Children's.
We provide treatment for all kinds of disease in children's (ADHD, Autism, Allergic disorder PhakkaRogam, Behavioral disorder's, BalaSosam, muscular disorders), we also provide treatment to Enhance the immune System. DEPARTMENT OF Kayachikitsa (general medicine)

The department provides a multi systemic approach, the therapeutic procedures are done through medications, psycological, behavioral and life style management.
The department offers a wide spectrum of services starting from early detection and management of all general and chronic illnesses.
It comprises of opd and separate bedded male and female wards with all facilities like emergency drugs 24*7 nursing care, medical officers are available.
The department provides treatment facilities and consultancy services for the patients attending opd and ipd of kayachikitsa by our experienced doctors.
Our services are supported by hospital laboratory providing routine as well as advanced tests.

DEPARTMENT OF HOSPITAL Prasuti Tantra and Stree Roga

Maria Ayurveda Hospital runs a special PTSR OPD with a well-equipped OT and IP ward. Consultation is available for all female disorders like:
Menstrual irregularities
All gynaecological disorders
Preconceptional and conceptional counselling
Menopausal clinics

DEPARTMENT OF SHALYA TANTRA

Here patients are treated at both opd and ipd levels.
Shalya OT block consists of
 MAJOR OT- a fully equipped modular operation theatre with all amenities for major surgeries
 KSHARA SUTRA OT -Full-fledged anorectal clinic to treat all types of ailments related with ano rectal canal with kshara sutra chikitsa, kshara karma etc.
 MINOR OT - Medical management and surgical interventions of all types of wound management such as chronic, non healing ulcers like venous ulcers, diabetic ulcers and infected wounds
Other procedures are
1 Agnikarma – application of heat directly or indirectly with the help of different materials to relieve the patient from disease & Pain management
2 Raktamokshana and Leech therapy – for disease due to vitiated blood, skin diseases
3 Marma chikitsa for Gridhrasi, Avabahuka, pakshagata and other osteo & neuro diseases
4 Bhagna chikitsa(fracture and dislocation) and treat other general surgical disorders

DEPARTMENT OF SHALAKYA TANTRA

• Varieties of clinical tests are executed in the OPD with the aid of instruments like ophthalmoscope, otoscope, tuning fork, slit lamp, bull’s lamp, and Torch test. Vision is examined with the help of Snellen’s, near vision chart, Ischihara Chart for color vision, Autorefraction, Retinoscopy, Tonometry, Keratometry, Sac syringing, A-scan, B-Scan, 4Dot test for general assessment of Squint, fluorescein test for assessment of Corneal abrasions, Rose Bengal Test, Schirmer Test for dry eye assessment. Dark room for refraction is set up in the hospital.
• In the IPD section tarpanam, putapakam, nasyam, siropichu, sirobasti, sirodhara, karnadhupan, kavala, gandush, padabhyanga, pattabandhanam, etc. are performed as per the requirment. Clinical training is regular and the department has records of successfully treating RP, Glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, Hypertensive retinopathy, sinusitis, myopia, headache, optic atrophy, nasal polyps, aural polyps, Hearing loss, etc.
• The department has a collection of charts, models and specimens. The department has a research credit of chronic suppurative otitis media (poothikarna), Chronic Rhinitis, Viral Conjunctivitis, Pterygium, and Jaloka Avcharana in Anjannamika.
• We have well developed three independent OPDs for- Netra (Eye), Karna-Nasa-Mukha (E.N.T), and Danta (Orodental).
• A self-sufficient well equipped O.T. for Shalakyatantra.
• Special Ayurvedic treatment is available for many chronic and common diseases e.g. for dry eye/computer vision syndrome- Netratarpana, Aschyotana, for Karnasrava- Karnadhupan, etc.

DEPARTMENT OF HOSPITAL-SWASTHAVRITTA AND YOGA OPD

Specialists at Swasthavritta OPD focus on providing specific advice and guidance on how to maintain physical and emotional health and attain the highest quality of Preventive and health promotive care through diet and lifestyle consultation.
The dietic requirements of all the in-patients of the hospital. General yoga and Pranayama training programs for public and patients are successfully being conducted through this department. Lifestyle diseases like Diabetes, PCOD, Hypertension, Obesity, Thyroid dysfunctions etc are effectively being managed by application of Oushadha (special Ayurveda medications), Pathyahara (Ayurveda diet), Mud therapy, Yoga and Pranayama.
Involvement in community activities in nearby villages, conducting morning Yoga sessions for the OPD patients as well as for the public.
